    <idAbs>The Department of Lands and Surveys (DLS) is the responsible body for the establishment of a geographic background for the marine area of Cyprus. DLS systematically began to survey sea morphological elements in 2005, and more specifically during the period 2013-2015 as part of the Program ΘΑΛ-ΧΩΡ, created an inventory of maritime activities for the development of Marine Spatial Planning.
